Chong-Hui Furzeland studied Chinese painting and Art Education in S. Korea and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.  She then specialized in pottery using her fine arts skills to decorate the pottery with hand–painting using motifs from both western and Asian art.

She continued her education in Houston, Texas studying at both the College of the Mainland (Texas City) and Lee College (Baytown).

 

Her style is continually evolving by using a variety of techniques – wax painting, deep/rich glazes and hand carving.
